$125 Budget Weekly Menu– After two years of $100 Budget Menus, we’ve increased the grocery budget to $125 a week for six people including three teens and one pre-teen.

BREAKFAST

Christmas Morning: Monte Cristo Sandwich with Fontina Cheese

Homemade Freezer Waffles with DIY Waffle Syrup

Cereal with milk x2

Strawberry Yogurt* with banana slices, toast

Bagel* with cream cheese

Cheese Toast, Banana


LUNCH

Homemade Pizza Bagels*

Turkey Sandwich, raw veggies and ranch dressing*

Nachos with avocado slices

PBJ, chips

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, canned peaches*

Ham and Cream Cheese Rollups, green pepper slices

Leftovers from dinner

 

DINNER

Christmas Eve Dinner at a restaurant with friends

Christmas Dinner: Simple Shrimp and Grits, steamed sugar snap peas, toasted french bread with spinach artichoke dip, pie and ice cream

Greek Pasta Salad, hummus with raw veggies

Hot Dogs*, baked beans*

Black Bean Chicken Chili, corn chips

Roast Beef Sandwiches, chips, grapes

Turkey Subs, chips

(We have a very busy week so we will be having “picnic” type food two evenings while we are out rather than eating in a restaurant.)

I love that yall can have sandwiches for meals. My husband eats sandwiches for lunch everyday he works, so when he is off- thats the last thing he wants on our menu:)

What am I having for meals this week with all the family I have?
Simple:

Wine and Xanax.
