$125 Budget Weekly Menu –After two years of $100 Budget Menus, we’ve increased the grocery budget to $125 a week for six people including three teens.

(Please Note: You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales are probably different in your area and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu. :) )

*Items marked with an asterisk were purchased in previous weeks in the $125 Budget and are in the pantry, fridge or freezer.

BREAKFAST

Homemade Waffles with DIY Waffle Syrup

Banana Pecan Muffins

Egg and Cheese Bagel

Cereal with milk x2

Cheese Toast, banana

Oatmeal* with cinnamon and raisins


LUNCH

Homemade Pizza Bagels

Turkey Sandwich, tortilla chips x2

Nachos

PBJ, apple* slices with cinnamon

Snack Lunch: salami slices, pepper jack cheese, carrots* and ranch dressing*

Leftovers from dinner

 

DINNER

(This is a strange week for us because some of us are going in different directions on several days, so I am cooking simple dinners on a few nights.)

Chicken Quesadillas, steamed broccoli

BBQ Pepper Jack Bacon Burgers (skipping the bacon this week), chips

Chicken and Black Bean Chili, corn chips

Grilled Cheese, grapes

Dinner with friends

Dinner out at a fast food restaurant (paid for with grocery money)

Dinner out with son using coupons (everyone else is eating at an event)

I love your breakfasts and lunches. Pizza bagels and “eggles” are some of my favorites!
