$125 Budget Weekly Menu (+ Easy Recipes) 9/28

$125 Budget Weekly Menu –After two years of $100 Budget Menus , we’ve increased the grocery budget to $125 a week for six people including three teens.

(Please Note: You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales are probably different in your area and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu.)

*Items marked with an asterisk were purchased in previous weeks in the $125 Budget and are in the pantry, fridge or freezer.

BREAKFAST

Oatmeal Pancakes* (ingredients previously purchased)

Oatmeal* with raisins, Easy Baked Apples

Veggie Scramble

Yogurt, banana slices, Crockpot Granola* (ingredients previously purchased)

Cereal with milk x2

Homemade Waffles* (ingredients previously purchased) with DIY Waffle Syrup*


LUNCH

Cheese Quesadillas, raw broccoli and carrots

Tuna Salad, crackers* (pickles for tuna salad previously purchased)

Turkey Sandwich, carrots and ranch dressing x2

Nachos, avocado slices

Snack lunch: salami, pepper jack cheese, raw broccoli and carrots

PBJ, apple slices with cinnamon

 

 

DINNER

Chicken Pasta Salad (some ingredients previously purchased), grapes

Chicken and Black Bean Chili* (ingredients previously purchased), corn chips

Chuck Roast*, mashed potatoes, steamed green beans*

Taco Bowls (Beantastic Taco Meat, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream served on tortilla chips), corn

Penne* with Marinara sauce*, Romaine Salad

Chicken and Veggie Stir Fry, rice*

Dinner out (we have a gift certificate)

your menu looks good! I am trying to stick to $100 dollars a week for groceries. It isn’t always easy especially with a little one still on formula but we manage somehow! thanks for sharing your tips!
