Just Keep Moving (My Weekly Plan) 9/3

by Kimberlee

Just Keep Moving!

Life is busy and in the midst of all that busyness, it’s easy to end up at the end of a week (or month!) without having really accomplished anything. It is so true that if you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.

To ensure that I’m living life on purpose, I make a weekly plan. I started calling it my Just Keep Moving List to encourage myself that even though I may be slow, I’m making progress!

I use this Weekly Planner to help me get a view of the week at a glance. It makes a huge difference in my being able to focus on what’s important each day. (You can click here to see all of the FREE printable planners I have available.)

Here’s this week’s plan (and an update on last week’s!):

Last Week:

Run/Walk at least 25 minutes 4 days

This Week: Run/Walk at least 25 minutes 4 days (hopefully increasing my running time during each outing)

Last Week:

Date with hubby

Driving practice with son

Confine blog work and writing to before 9 am, 1 hour at lunch and a couple of hours in the afternoon/evening  √ (I did pretty well with this one with only a couple of exceptions.)

Have one-on-one devotion time with 11 year old 4 mornings  √ (we managed 3–yeah! We also had two dates this week.)

This Week:

Date with hubby

Driving practice with son

Confine blog work and writing to before 9 am, 1 hour at lunch and a couple of hours in the afternoon/evening

One-on-one exercise time with 11 year old 2 mornings (My daughter has become interested in joining me on my exercise outings, so I’m jumping on this opportunity!)

One-on-one date with 14 year old (We will probably go thrift store shopping which we both enjoy.)

Family outing on Friday afternoon/evening

Each week I choose a project to work on ten minutes a day (read why here).

Last Week:  Unpack and organize school books on new shelf  √ (I only worked for ten minutes on two days, but I unpacked one box.)

This Week: Unpack and organize school books on new shelf.

Last week:

bedtime by 10 pm   1/2 √   (3 out of 7 nights)

drink 8 glasses of water daily (see my DIY drink reminder magnets here)   1/2 √  (I missed a couple of days.)

take cod liver oil capsules daily  1/2 √ (3 out of 7–you would think this would be easy, but I forget :( )

This week: bedtime by 10 pm, drink 8 glasses of water daily, take cod liver oil capsules daily

Last Week:

Morning “brain dump” (read more here) and journaling first thing √  (5 out of 7 days)

Do art journaling 2 days   1/2 √  (I worked on a new vision board and did one page of art journaling)

This Week:

Morning “brain dump” and journaling first thing

Work on vision board

Listen to worship music every day

Do you have some areas in which you want to accomplish more? Leave a comment about your plans for this week.

Even a little progress is moving in the right direction! :)

For the last three weeks I’ve been wanting to try your Take Ten, even putting it on my To Do list. But I never made time for it. I LOVE the idea, I just need to actually DO it. No excuses.
