Have you ever seen such a large package of ground beef? We just purchased it from Zaycon Foods along with 15 pounds of bacon so you’ll be seeing lots of beef and bacon in my upcoming menus!

We recently purchased the ground beef (pictured above) which is priced at $2.97 per pound for 93/7 lean ground beef. This beats the best price I can find in our area by $.60/pound and it is actually better quality.

To keep prices low Zaycon sells large packages (40 pound boxes of ground beef or chicken and 30 pounds of bacon), so we split boxes with friends and coworkers.
