Kettle Cuisine Review (and Giveaway!) {closed}

by Kimberlee

As a mom with a gluten free child I am always eager to try new gluten free products and recently Kettle Cuisine sent us some of their gluten free soups to try.

Kettle Cuisine is unique in that their soups are frozen rather than canned, so they retain the fresh flavor of the ingredients and taste much more like home made soup. They use all natural ingredients and have some organic, dairy free and vegetarian selections as a part of their gluten free soup line.

I had never tried Kettle Cuisine Soups before, but I am so glad that I did! They are really delicious.

I especially enjoyed the New England Clam Chowder which I’ve never seen in a gluten free variety. It was very creamy and had terrific flavor. My daughter enjoyed the tomato soup with garden vegetables (pictured above).

The soups are packaged in individual servings of 10 ounces, which is a little more than a cup. I have to say that we would have preferred the portions to be a little larger because the soup was so delicious!

These soups will be great to have in the freezer for those days when my daughter needs a quick lunch.

Kettle Cuisine is generously offering my readers a chance to win a prize pack including:

(1) Cooler bag
(5) Coupons for a FREE Kettle Cuisine Soup Variety
(3) $.50 cents off and (3) $1 off coupons to give to friends and family.
(1) Notepad

This is awesome, my mom is gluten free for just over 7 months, and it is interesting cooking a full family meal that she can also enjoy.

I think we would like to try the chicken with rice noodles.

I think my mom would like the New England Clam Chowder

The Organic Mushroom & Potato soup sounds amazing! I just recently found out that I am allergic to gluten, peanuts, and corn, so I am trying to learn how to cook for myself, and it is SO HARD right now. Everything has either gluten or some form of corn in it. So this would be an awesome win.

Cheryl Smith February 10, 2012 at 12:58 pm

I love New England Clam Chowder so that is the one I’d like to try.

Karen February 11, 2012 at 1:25 pm

Progresso makes gluten-free New England Clam Chowder, and has for some time. Anyway, I tried their Chicken Noodle soup and was not impressed. It was rather bland, and the noodles broke down very quickly and became mush, as did the carrots.
