Enjoying Romance in the Midst of Life

by Kimberlee Stokes Affiliate Link Disclosure B

Life can really wear a marriage down, but here are a few quick ways to renew the romance.

Speak Kind Words

One of the best ways to keep romantic feelings in your relationship is by speaking kind and loving words to your spouse.  It’s easy to find things to criticize.  Why not find something to praise today?

Visit Interesting Places

Boredom can easily set in after you’ve been married for several years. Try visiting a museum or downtown area you have never been to before.  You’ll be surprised how it can ignite a little spark in your relationship.

Enjoy Engaging Conversation

Start talking about something new-something you read or a news story you find interesting.  Ask questions and learn something new about your spouse.

Keeping the romance in your relationship only takes a little bit of effort, but the results are well worth it!

I completely agree with your ideas but I would include another one:
spend time alone and try to find things to laugh about. It could be about a bird that won’t stop pecking at your windows but laugh together! I feel my relationship with my fiancee couldn’t survive without those small times where we are just laughing at the same time.

You get to see the same spark you fell for the first day ;)

Loved this post. My husband and I are celebrating eight years this week, I’m going to try these.
