$100 Budget Weekly Menu 6/24/11

BREAKFAST

Organic yogurt with granola* and fresh blueberries

Cereal* with milk x2

Scrambled eggs, grits

Cheese toast, cantaloupe

Oatmeal*

Egg and cheese bagel



LUNCH

Turkey and cream cheese rollups, broccoli and carrots with ranch dressing

Smoothie (frozen bananas*, strawberries*, yogurt), popcorn*

PBJ*, canned fruit*

Tuna Salad*, crackers*

Turkey sandwich, pickles*

Snack Tray: crackers* and banana slices with peanut butter* dip, carrots with ranch dressing*

Nachos



DINNER

Steak and Peppers with Broccoli Slaw Salad



Steak and Peppers, Broccoli Slaw Salad (recipe here), rice
(Sirloin tip roast $3.49/lb at Publix this week, which is the cheapest price in our area.  The meat manager sliced into strips for me.)

Crockpot Chili* (recipe here-scroll to third recipe)
(Ground beef given to us by a friend, all other ingredients from the pantry.)

Chili dogs*, tortilla chips*
(Hot dogs purchased on sale with a coupon and in freezer, tortilla chips purchased on sale.)

London Broil*, green beans*
(London Broil purchased on sale two weeks ago and placed in the freezer.)

Black beans* (recipe here), rice*
(Black beans previously cooked and placed in freezer.)

Crockpot Country Style Ribs* (recipe here), cheesy mashed potatoes*
(Ribs purchased on sale two weeks ago and placed in freezer, potatoes purchased on sale and in pantry.)

Chicken* Stirfry, rice
(Chicken purchased on sale and in freezer, Eat Smart stir fry veggies on sale this week at Publix, rice purchased on sale and in pantry.)
