Summer Sanity: Designated Days

by Kimberlee

Summer Sanity: Summer’s here and the kids are home. How do you keep your sanity? Designated Days.

Summer can be a fun time with a relaxed schedule, but we find that a little structure helps life run more smoothly. An easy way to provide that structure is to designate each day of the week with an activity or theme so we all know what to expect.

For example:

Monday-Cooking Lesson and Swimming

Tuesday-Park with Friends, Family Night

Wednesday-Library Day

Thursday-Ice Cream!

Friday-Pizza and a Movie

Saturday-Family Fun Day

Silly Question, but are these the same ever week…or do you change them weekly?

That’s not a silly question at all! :)

We keep ours basically the same and if something interesting comes up we add it to the list or switch the day of what we have planned to another day that week. Make sense?
