If you read my post here you know that I have recommitted to my weekly planning day on Sundays so that my life runs a little more smoothly. I decided that I needed a few more specifics on my planning form so I created The Peaceful Mom Weekly Planner 2 which includes my morning routine and an hour by hour section for appointments.
My morning routine includes:
□Water (reminder to drink first thing)
□Bible
□Exercise
□Laundry (get a load started early)
□Breakfast
□Food Prep
I include food preparation because starting meals first thing in the morning makes my dinner time much less stressful.
The daily focus section helps me to focus on a particular area for the day to get more accomplished:
Monday-Paperwork
Tuesday-Writing
Wednesday-Grocery List and Menu
Thursday-Shopping
Friday-Computer and Desk Clean Out
Saturday-Fun Day
Sunday-Rest and Planning
You can print The Peaceful Mom Weekly Planner 1 here. This form is more general.
If you would like a customized form you can contact me: Kimberlee [at] ThePeacefulMom [dot] com for details.

I love your idea of setting aside time on Sunday to plan for the week. Also having a pattern for each morning helps you feel more in control. I noticed you included Bible and exercise, two very important disciplines.
When I was homeschooling my 2 kids, now grown, I used a schedule broken down into 30-min time slots.
I hopped over from Blogfrog Hip Homeschoolers to visit.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment Theresa! I’m not organized enough yet to move to 30 minute time slots but having a general routine really helps. Have a Peaceful Day!
